THE VISION SCIENCE RESEARCH PROGRAM (VSRP)
A joint initiative between Toronto Western Hospital and the University of Toronto. The research conducted by the VSRP is concentrated in the following areas:
  • Molecular genetics of blinding eye diseases and brain disorders

  • Treatment, biophysics and psychophysics of glaucoma

  • Eye movement control mechanisms

  • Neuronal damage

  • Retinal degeneration and diabetic retinopathy

  • Greatest concentration of corneal research
