The Vision Program is a leader in the research into a number of the leading causes of vision loss.
The future of vision research,education initiatives and exemplary patient care depend upon our ability to recruit and retain the best vision scientists and clinicians.We also need to provide our leaders with the equipment, facilities and support needed to find the answers to eye disease and vision loss.

In Honour Gifts
Thank your healthcare professional, honour a loved one, celebrate a birthday, wedding, anniversary…or any special occasion. With a donation made In Honour of someone you appreciate, we’ll send a card to the individual letting them know you have supported our hospitals in their name.

Please note: Online donors will receive confirmation by email and shortly thereafter, an electronic tax receipt. Monthly donors will receive a cumulative tax receipt for their total gifts in February. For all donations less than $20, tax receipts will be issued upon request only. |

Donating publicly-traded stock, mutual funds and options that have appreciated in value can be very tax advantageous. You can avoid having to pay expensive tax on capital gains when the securities are donated directly to Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation (the Foundation), instead of selling the securities first.

Leadership Giving
The R. Fraser Elliott Society was created to recognize and involve donors making gifts of $1,000 to $9,999 annually or $10,000 to $99,999 cumulative lifetime.
