Movement Disorders Clinic led by Dr. Lang
The Movement Disorders Centre at Krembil Neuroscience Centre is the largest movement disorders centre in North America and has been designated a National Parkinson Foundation Centre of Excellence.
At the core of the Centre's mission is the provision of optimal care and support to patients with all stages of Parkinson's, their caregivers and their families. Every year, almost 8,000 patients with a movement disorder are referred for consultation and expert opinion from across Canada and all over the world.
Led by Dr. Anthony Lang, the Parkinson's team is committed to integrating state-of-the-art technology and personalized care to prevent, treat and manage neural and sensory system disorders.
A world leader in Parkinson's disease research, Dr. Lang was recently named an Officer of the Order of Canada in recognition of his contributions to the field of movement disorders, notably for advancing therapeutics for patients with Parkinson's disease.
