The Parkinson’s Peloton Campaign is a group of Canadian recreational and competitive cyclists with a goal to raise awareness about Parkinson’s disease and raise funds for Parkinson’s research. Through sponsorship and donation pledges for participating in various races and cycle events throughout Canada in 2010, the group hopes to raise $50,000 for The Michael J. Fox Foundation and the Krembil Neuroscience Centre.

The cyclists will proudly wear the Team Fox / KNC cycling uniform at all of their recreational, club and race rides throughout 2010, soliciting donations and pledges for each event.

Proceeds, split evenly between The Michael J. Fox Foundation and the Krembil Neuroscience Centre, will fund the important and exciting research currently being conducted on Parkinson’s disease – a progressive, neurodegenerative disorder that affects over 100,000 Canadians and over six million people worldwide.
