History & Photos » 2006 Message from The Chair Grand Cru provided the opportunity for a meeting of the minds among Toronto’s elite corporate community, wine connoisseurs, prominent local and international chefs, notable vintners, and University Health Network scientists. We are extremely grateful to those individuals who graciously opened their homes as an intimate backdrop for the Reserve Wine Tasting and for the Exclusive Wine & Dine and to the generous contributions of our guests. This outstanding occasion was the result of a team effort. I was fortunate to have a creative group of volunteers and the Grand Cru Advisory Board whose energy and insight were invaluable. It has been a privilege for me to chair Grand Cru. It’s also been an incredible experience, driven by the chance to support medical discoveries at Toronto General Hospital and Toronto Western Hospital’s amazing research institutes. Sincerely, Todd A.
