DORAL GOLF RESORT
“The Gentle Ben Stimulus Package”
The ultimate Golf & Spa Getaway in support of cancer care and research
Over the past 11 years, the Gentle Ben Charity Challenge has raised over $900,000 to fund cancer support and research programs. We are thrilled to announce our 2009 destination as we drive for a million in…Miami!
We listened closely to what you had to say – and you wanted value! The GB is aware of the recession – and we have worked very hard to create a package that fits in with the times. You want savings – well the GB has heard your calls – and we have our own GB Stimulus Package – with no pork barrel spending!! Your money will go to two key areas: Golf/Spa and Accommodations!
We’ve assembled a fabulous package that offers it all. For the low cost of approximately $650 (+ $300-$500 for flights) you get:
• 3 nights accommodations at luxurious Doral Resort
• 2 rounds of golf (Blue Monster and Great White)
• Full breakfast each day
After covering the cost for this fantastic package, all you have to do is help us to raise money for some great causes. This year, we are asking each golfer to raise a minimum of $1,000 towards our designated beneficiaries. By approaching family, friends, colleagues and business contacts – and through their own generosity – our golfers have always come through big.
Register now to secure your spot!
The Gentle Ben honours the memory of Ben Pearl, father of Steven and Michael Pearl, the tournament’s founders. Ben passed away from cancer in 1997, and was known for his gentle nature and his commitment to volunteering at our sister golf tournament – the Dr. Jay Classic.
The Gentle Ben Charity Challenge is administered through the Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation, which allocates funds to our designated beneficiaries.
For the 12th annual Gentle Ben Charity Challenge, we are pleased to announce our association with the LWW Children's Foundation. This foundation, founded by Daymon Loeb, Sean Williams and Stephen Woodall, was created with the purpose of helping support children suffering from the effects of cancer and aneurysms. www.lwwchildrensfoundation.ca
