Foot & Ankle Service

The Foot and Ankle Service provides education, diagnosis, and both surgical and non-surgical treatment for patients with a variety of foot and ankle problems, including athletic injuries, fractures, arthritis, and deformities.

Specialized surgical services include:

• Complex foot and ankle reconstruction of the midfoot, hindfoot, and ankle
• Forefoot (bunion, claw toe) surgery
• Ankle arthroscopy
• Ligament reconstruction
• Fracture care

Specialized non-surgical services include:

• Foot care for people with diabetes
• Orthotics prescriptions

Rehabilitation Solutions offer patients the latest knowledge and approach for successful recovery. Recently opened satellite clinics provide treatment closer to home for patients living in southwestern Ontario. The Orthopaedic Division’s Dr. Johnny Lau is one of only two foot & ankle specialists in the province.
