On January 10, 2010 donors enjoyed an inside look at their support in action with an exclusive Behind-the-Scenes presentation on a world-first lung transplant breakthrough. The presentation by Dr. Shaf Keshavjee offered a rare glimpse at the Toronto ex-VIVO Lung Perfusion System, an innovation that has made world headlines for its potential to dramatically increase the number of successful lung transplants, and was recently featured on the television drama Grey's Anatomy.
