On March 9, 2010, supporters tuned in to Fairchild Radio Toronto for a live broadcast from the Toronto Western Hospital atrium. It was during this live broadcast that Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation launched our first text messaging campaign.

The morning broadcast raised over $30,000 in phone, online and text messaging donations. All gifts will go towards the Chinese Community Health Fund at Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation. This special projects fund will be used to support Chinese-based health programs and services.
