Volunteer Opportunity – R. Fraser Elliott Society Committee
The R. Fraser Elliott Society Committee is a volunteer-based committee that offers unique opportunities to individuals who would like to support and give back to the community by raising awareness and funds for Toronto General and Toronto Western Hospitals. The committee always seeks to welcome new members representing a broad range of professional expertise and personal backgrounds.
Why partner with Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation?
Toronto General and Toronto Western Hospitals are leaders in the medical community. Our Research Institutes are home to some of the top scientists in the world. We have a remarkable clinical care program that is supported by highly trained, highly specialized professionals. We have built one of the most sophisticated medical facilities in North America.
Your affiliation with Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation, and specifically with the R. Fraser Elliott Committee, will enhance your personal and professional network while building expertise in philanthropy through peer-to-peer fundraising and volunteer activities.
Mary Connacher, long-time member of the Board of Directors of Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation and past chair of the Foundation, was appointed to be the inaugural chair of the committee. Her leadership and volunteer experience, together with the assistance of the foundation staff, will enhance your experience with the TG&WHF.
Please consider this challenging and rewarding opportunity. For more information about the Committee, please contact Robert Windrum at elliottsociety@uhn.on.ca. or call 416-340-4944.
