This will allow us to provide our remarkable scientific and medical minds with the tools and space to advance discovery, teaching and patient care.
Established in 1986, Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation is dedicated to supporting excellence in health care by raising funds for research, medical education, and the improvement of patient care at Toronto General Hospital and Toronto Western Hospital, which, along with Princess Margaret Hospital, comprise University Health Network (UHN).
UHN is the combined expertise of three leading hospitals: Toronto General Hospital, Toronto Western Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital. By joining together in 1998, we formed the largest academic health sciences centre in Canada. Over 10,000 health care professionals at UHN are making life better for our patients every day. Our hospitals share a tradition of great outcomes and medical firsts, benefiting the 800,000 plus patients that visit UHN each year.
