Operating Room 9 is open for business
Thanks to the exceptional generosity of our donors, fundraising has been completed for Operating Room 9 at Toronto Western Hospital – exclusively to be used for joint replacement. The operating room was outfitted in response to an escalating demand for complex procedures of this kind. Now clinical teams are able to work in a more efficient, comfortable environment while offering patients the most effective treatments. In addition, with renovations accommodating enhanced technology, procedures can be recorded and viewed by colleagues around the world and on-site trainees can observe procedures without blocking the surgical field.
